An initiative of The Urban Academy for Applied Math and Sciences in partnership with The Fund for Public Schools, Pi5NY is no ordinary math tournament. It’s a fast-paced team competition with an Olympic-style opening ceremony, a parade of 1,200 “mathletes” and the world’s largest pi-ñata. On behalf of client and sponsor, BNP Paribas, Infinia conceptualized the event, worked with a graffiti artist and students to create a logo, orchestrated a targeted e-blast program to promote registration, developed an interactive scoring system, and designed the website to reflect the spirit of youthful, healthy competition.
