Laurence Koret, IT Director

Laurence may be a child of the Star Wars Decade, but he is indubitably The Man when it comes to monitoring, maintaining and improving Infinia's technological infrastructure.

He had the enviable good luck to grow up with a father who worked for IBM during the rise of the personal computer. Accordingly, taking laptops and desktops apart and fixing them just comes naturally. But, take note, this Koret is a Mac Daddy!

We were indeed fortunate to prise him away from his own Mac-centric IT consultancy, Starlight Media, Inc., which he formed after spending over ten years at Marriott's flagship property in Times Square, integrating and overseeing technology for every form of event and presentation from awards to conventions to satellite broadcasts to fashion shows.

Laurence admits to a B.S. in Communications from Ithaca College, but prefers to talk about his passion for scuba diving and brewing beer. The fact that he can craft a pilsner while hovering above a coral reef demonstrates this man's extraordinary versatility.
